I pride myself on being able to get the work done, even on the days I don’t feel great, but today was one where the engine light came on halfway through the first set of intervals.
I tried a few get out of jail techniques to make it through the rest of the session, but in the end found myself firmly within the toasted triangle, so parked up at a cafe with some air con and put together this post to at least achieve something from the ride.
Failure is a necessary part of progress in most pursuits, but ideally within a well tailored training plan it shouldn’t become too familiar. Here are some steps you can take to keep things moving in the right direction.
