About

After completing my Bachelor of Science with a Physiology Major at the University of Melbourne, I’ve now made the transition to a full-time athlete. Only the standard practice of lying around watching Netflix after a training day doesn’t sit too well with me, so I often find myself sifting through the latest research in the world of exercise physiology.

While writing one of a series of research summaries during my degree I had an idea, instead of contributing to the hundreds of cyclist blogs out there consisting of not-quite-pro cyclists talking about themselves, I could offer people something a little different. These blogs aim to bring new research in the field of physiology to a wider audience. Hopefully these blogs put a few myths to bed and give you some sneaky tips on how to get the most out of your riding. Enjoy!
